This custom tap handle was based on the Henry Ford’s Girthsome Fjord bottle label with Henry the horse in a poker visor and sporting a stylish gold tooth. In collaboration with the boys at the brewery it was decided that the best way forward for the Henry Ford’s Girthsome Fjord tap handle was to have Henry riding a jockey.

All of the jockeys in this edition are different.  The jockey’s silks are based on those worn by the jockeys of world famous race horses.

The Henry Ford’s Girthsome Fjord handles were finished with a combination of airbrushed and hand painted details using an automotive paint for strength and durability.

It was definitely quite a process hand painting each jockey with his individual design but the finished results are amazing.
